Prenatal yoga is designed to promote a healthy, aligned, and strong body throughout pregnancy. Learning how to use alignment principles helps expecting mothers to create space for their growing baby as well as enables the mother to support and strengthen her changing body. Yoga postures teach you how to remain present and focused during physically challenging moments. Ultimately, you gain the important skills needed during delivery.

Prenatal yoga helps moms-to-be:

  • gain a deeper connection and understanding of their bodies
  • ease the common aches and pains experienced during pregnancy
  • gain the strength and stamina needed for childbirth and after

One of the most powerful benefits of prenatal yoga is you become part of a wonderful community or kula. Sharing and bonding with other moms-to-be helps women to feel a support and a connection that is becoming rare today.

Moms-to-be will learn to set intentions that they will come back to throughout pregnancy, labor, and new motherhood. As new moms we encourage you to come back to these classes as a gentle way to reconnect to your body after your baby is born.
